MOSES LAKE - The public is invited to Big Bend Community College President Bill Bonaudi's final "State of the College" address May 1.
The event starts at 6:30 p.m., May 1, in the college's Masto Conference Center.
Bonaudi, who retires in June during Big Bend's 50th anniversary year, will present the college's 17th "State of the College" address. He informs the audience of the developments, initiatives and challenges facing the college.
"Dr. Bonaudi thinks the annual report to the community is an important responsibility, and he ... spends a lot of time preparing for these presentations each year," said Doug Sly, Big Bend's director of public information. "It will be one of the last times to hear Dr. Bonaudi in his role as president before he starts enjoying retirement."
"As Time Goes By" is the theme for the presentation. Refreshments are provided before the address.
Bonaudi will evaluate Big Bend's history in recognition of its 50th anniversary. He will speak about Big Bend's financial difficulties, which puts student access, programs and services at risk.
To RSVP, call 509-793-2001.
