Norma Lucille Campbell, 90, of Longview, Wash., died April 21, 2012, at the Hospice Care Center in Longview.

She was born Dec. 17, 1921, at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, to Emerson and Goldie (Morris) Grafmiller. She moved to Longview from Coeur d’Alene in 1985.

Norma loved to read, but above all, she loved the Lord, her family, friends and people in general. The desire of her heart was that “none would perish, but all would come to know Jesus and be saved.” She was gifted in hospitality and loved to be of help. When no longer physically able to assist, she used the phone to pull together incredible resources to meet all kinds of need for all kinds of people.

She loved her roles as wife, mother and homemaker. She was a current member of Calvary Community Church in Longview, and past member of Coeur d’Alene Presbyterian Church and Hayden Lake Friends Church in Idaho, and served them with joy in differing capacities over the years.

She married and survived her husband, Warren C. Tschirgi (1921-1985) and they first made their home in Spokane, later Coeur d’Alene and finally in Longview.

She leaves their three children, Margi Hill of Athens, Texas, Chris (Lisa) Tschirgi of Vancouver and Martha (Jim) Zimmerman of Longview.

In 1997 she married and also survived Jack W. Campbell (1927-2003) and leaves four stepchildren, Douglas (Kris) Campbell, Robert Campbell, Doris (Jack) Sanderlin and Eva Campbell.

She loved and enjoyed her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A funeral service is planned for noon, Monday, April 30, 2012, at Calvary Community Church in Longview, with the Rev. Galen Conrad officiating. Viewings are planned from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2012, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park & Crematory.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Home Health & Hospice or Calvary Community Church.
