Subpoena seeks to unmask bloggers

Attorneys on behalf of Kootenai County GOP Chairwoman Tina Jacobson have subpoenaed the Spokesman-Review to produce documents establishing the identities of three anonymous Huckleberries Online bloggers: “almostinnocentbystander,” “Phaedrus” and “OutofStatertater.”/ Spokesman-Review blog, Huckleberries Online

Jacobson is the plaintiff in a lawsuit filed Monday in Kootenai County District Court against John or Jane Doe, the anonymous commenter "almostinnocentbystander." The suit claims the commenter made statements on the Huckleberries blog that were defamatory and libelous to Jacobson.
