Cards sweep to wrap up regular season

NIC idle until Region 18 tourney in two weeks

COEUR d'ALENE - Brianna Bishop hit a three-run home run in the fifth inning of the second game and the North Idaho College Cardinals went on to sweep Colorado Northwestern 11-1 and 8-0 in a Scenic West Athletic Conference doubleheader on Saturday at Memorial Field.

Amber Meyers and Ashley Moon had three RBIs apiece in the first game for NIC (23-35, 19-28 SWAC), which is off until the Region 18 tournament in Salt Lake City on May 10-12. Colorado Northwestern dipped to 4-45, 1-42.
