Water levels prompt warning

The Kootenai County Sheriff's Department is asking the boating public to be aware of the current water levels and obey the no-wake restrictions this week.

The Coeur d'Alene River was predicted to fall below flood stage, 43 feet, on Saturday night and Lake Coeur d'Alene won't likely fall below flood stage until Thursday.

When the water levels on the Coeur d'Alene River and Lake Coeur d'Alene go below flood stage, the no-wake restriction will be lifted.
