Glacier Symphony

Glacier High School band director David Barr, left, and members of the Glacier Symphony performing the Rachmaninoff Concerto Number 3 in D minor on Sunday afternoon, April 29, at Flathead High School. This was the final full performance of the symphony for the season. Their next event is a performance of the Glacier String Quartet on May 11 at the John Paul II Catholic Parish in Bigfork and on May 12 at the Whitefish United Methodist Church. Both performances begin at 7:30 p.m. David Barr has been a member of the symphony since 2004.

Brenda Ahearn/Daily Inter Lake David Marion with Ace, one of the Great Pyrenees from the film Santa Paws2: The Santa Pups, on Wednesday, November 28, at A Country Animal Hospital in Eureka. Ace is now 16 months old and weighs 125 pounds. According to Marion, he's still growing.
