West Shore Food Bank benefit set for Aug. 11

The fifth annual West Shore Food Bank benefit barbeque and auction will be held on Aug. 11 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Edgewater Motel and RV Resort.
Hamburgers and hotdogs, salads and all the trimming with be available for a $7 minimum donation and deserts will be available for a $1 donation.
The auction will be handled by Bobby Roshon and auctioneer Bob Tallman.
The West Shore Food Bank can function only through donations, so every meal purchased and item donated for the auction is greatly appreciated by all who use the food bank.
All prodeeds go toward the West Shore Food Bank which recently opened a new larger facility.

The Lakeside to Blacktail hiking trail is now fully cleared and the final digging of tread will probably be finished this season. The trail can be easily followed for hiking now. A map is attached.
