Action heats up at ERP

EPHRATA - Saturday night is Motocross Under the Lights at Ephrata Raceway Park. Gates will open at noon with racing at 5 p.m.
Admission is $14 for adults, $10 for students, seniors and military personnel, and $30 for a family (two adults and three youth).
Racers who register early for the event will receive $5 off their entry fee. Send registration information to [email protected] or by fax to (509) 787-8401. Registration closes at 4 p.m. Saturday.
Schedules change
Due to a scheduling conflict the final and sixth round has been changed from Saturday Sept. 8 to Sunday Sept. 9. This will be an all day event with racing, games and awards. Camping is available in the outside parking lot.
Big news
On Aug. 10, Inland Oil and Propane along with Tjoelker Trucking bring North American Big Rigs (semis) from Canada to the 1/4 mile oval.
Also racing will be the Kim Janke State Farm Youth Hornets and Schaeffer Oil Mini Stocks. Gates will open at 5 p.m. with racing at 7.
Saturday, Aug. 11 is Kids Day at the Races. Kids 15 and under get in free. Racing will be the Ephrata Pioneer Muffler II Pure Stocks, Schaeffer Oil Mini Stocks and Jerry's Auto Supply 360 Sprints. Gates open at 5 p.m. with racing at 7.
ERP will be closed Aug. 18. Just added to the calendar is the Farm Boys Classic. Get your cars, pickups, wheat trucks, side x sides, hornets, mini sprints etc ready to race
Bring six of anything and we will race it in the dirt. More information will be coming out soon.
Auto racing will resume Aug. 25.
