Our beloved son, brother and father Ron E. Howell passed away unexpectedly July 3, 2012.

He was born on April 30, 1964. Ron graduated from Flathead High School in 1982, and then went into the US. Navy. He served from 1983 to 1988 while being stationed in Misawa, Japan, where his daughter Chelsea was born Oct. 22, 1987. After returning to Kalispell, his son Ron Jr. was born on March 19, 1992.

Ron worked at Valley Roofing, Carson Brothers Sheet Metal in Kalispell, and in the fall of 2011 Ron went to work for Schrader Metal and Design in Cody, Wyo. Ron was a hard worker and was always there to help his friends and family.

He was a big fan of NASCAR, and often enjoyed his trips to watch the races and have a good time with his friends.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, and will always be remembered as the big guy who would give you a hug and tell you that he loved you.

Ron is survived by his son, Ron Jr., of Kalispell; daughter, Chelsea Taylor, of Michigan; mother, Nancy Howell, of Kalispell; sister, Sheri Yeager, of Kalispell; and brother, Mike Kuntz, of Great Falls; as well as lots of aunts, cousins and family.

Ron is dearly missed by his family and friends and will be kept in our thoughts and our hearts always. A private family service has taken place.
