Polson girls open golf season with win at Anaconda

ANACONDA — The Polson girls’ golf team opened the season on a high note, winning the Anaconda Invitaional at Old Works Golf Course on Monday.
Nicole Clairmont and Jaylin Kenney finished second and third individually. Clairmont finished six shots behind Livingston’s Christal Tokash with a round of 91. Kenney shot a 93.
The low rounds boosted the Pirates to a team score of 387, well in front of Livingston’s second place round of 418.
The Polson boys finished in ninth with a total of 399. Hayden Congdon finished tied for fourth with a round of 81.
