The 3Cs grateful for community support
3Cs (Cancer & Community Charities) is extremely grateful to its members for their hard work and to many local merchants who have provided their support over the past year.
Due to their generosity and hard work we were able to present grants totaling $82,250 to 24 Kootenai County nonprofits on Aug. 8 at the Elks Lodge in Coeur d'Alene. We are especially appreciative of Duane and Lola Hagadone who opened their beautiful gardens and provided a delicious brunch for a fundraiser on Aug. 7 in celebration of 3Cs 50 years of giving. Their generosity enabled us to give much more to the community than we had originally anticipated.
The organizations which received the funds are as follows: Alzheimer's Association; Birthright of Coeur d'Alene; BPO Elks - Lodge 1254; Cancer Patient Care; Children's Village Foundation Inc.; Christmas For All; Coeur d'Alene Homes; Dime Community Health Center; Elder Help of North Idaho; Family Promise of North Idaho; Hospice of North Idaho; Idaho Drug Free Youth; Kootenai County Food Bank/Community Action Partnership; Kootenai Health Foundation; Lake City Center Meals on Wheels; NAMI Coeur d'Alene; North Idaho Project Linus; Post Falls Food Bank; Cross Walk North Idaho/Project Safe Place; Rathdrum Food Bank; Senior Christmas Cheer Project Windermere Foundation; TESH; Trinity Group Homes; and Walden House.
3Cs is very proud to be able to support our recipients and to be a contributing part of our community.
Sincerely,
MARCIA SAUNDERS
