COEUR d'ALENE - Hagadone Marine Group will host the Cobalt Boats 2013 dealer meeting in Coeur d'Alene Sept. 7-11.

Cobalt Boats' top executives, including the founder Pack St. Clair, will join a group of 400 guests representing 100 dealerships and 11 countries.

"Coeur d'Alene loves Cobalt Boats, and I can tell you we are fired up about this visit," said Craig Brosenne, general manager of Hagadone Marine Group. "This is the top-selling brand of boat in this market. We're eager to extend our hospitality to this very innovative company."

One of the highlights will be a glimpse of four 2013 models of Cobalt boats never seen before anywhere, Brosenne said.

The public will get a look at the four new models at The Coeur d'Alene Resort Floating Boardwalk on Sept. 8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"This is the worldwide premiere of these four boat models - and it's happening right here on Lake Coeur d'Alene," Brosenne said. "This will actually be the largest on-water display in the company's history."

Cobalt Boats, a 50-year-old business based in Neodesha, Kan., sells boats in what's called the "affordable luxury boat market."

Brosenne said the company was founded on innovation, and continues to lead the market in exciting new boat features.

"Coeur d'Alene is an incredible place, and it's always a treat to visit," said Cobalt Boats CEO Paxson St. Clair, son of the founder. "We can't wait to show these new boats to the world."

Hagadone Marine Group markets, sells and services Cobalt Boats as one of eight brands at its new showroom at 1000 South Marina Drive, Blackwell Island, on Lake Coeur d'Alene.
