Flathead Valley Community College will hold auditions Monday for its upcoming performance of the powerful and poetic Lanford Wilson play, “The Rimers of Eldritch.”

The play offers an in-depth examination of the residents of Eldritch, Mo., a small town in American’s heartland complete with foibles, love, hypocrisy and murder.

Auditions will take place at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. in the FVCC Theatre inside the Arts and Technology Building on campus. Roles are available for 17 actors of various ages.

Interested actors should prepare a 60-second monologue from any play, preferably one other than “The Rimers of Eldritch.”

The play is scheduled to run Feb. 15, 16, 22 and 23.

Auditions are open to the public, and acting experience is not required. For more information, contact director Joe Legate at jlegate@fvcc.edu or at 756-3906.
