The Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre will perform “A Touch of Christmas” right after the holiday parade in downtown Bigfork this Saturday at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts.
“A Touch of Christmas” is a fundraising concert to benefit the Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre that features founder Brach Thomson’s renditions of Christmas classics in multiple genres. Much like Manheim Steamroller Christmas and Transiberian Orchestra this will include rock, fusion, jazz, funk and blues.
Thomson arranged all the music himself. By using a MIDI and a computer he will be able to give a solo performance that feels like a large orchestra and rock/jazz combos.
Special guest performers include vocalist Tonja King, local musicians Vocal Vertigo, 5 & Holding, and the BPCT’s Choir #1.
This is a one-time only show on Dec. 8 at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $8 and all proceeds go to BPCT, tickets are available online or at the box office one hour prior to show time. Hot cocoa and peppermint schnapps and hot buttered rums will also be available.
For more information, call 837-4886 or email bpct@bigforksummerplay house.com or go to www.bigfork summerplayhouse.com.
