Chiefs roll past Blades

SASKATOON, Saskatchewan - Eric Williams had 30 saves as the Spokane Chiefs improved to 4-0 on their six-game eastern road trip with a 4-1 win against the Saskatoon Blades in Western Hockey League play on Wednesday night in front of 5,007 at the Credit Union Centre.
Todd Fiddler opened the scoring for Spokane in the first period with his league-leading 23rd goal. Liam Stewart scored his second goal in as many games to give Spokane a 2-0 lead after the first.
Blake Gal and Mitch Holmberg also scored for Spokane.
Spokane (21-7-1-0, 43 points) travels to Brandon, Manitoba, on Friday at 5:30 p.m. PST.
