LIBBY — The Libby wrestling team tallied seven pins in a 61-24 dual win over Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

Dylan Roby, Michael Ayala, Mitch Haugen, Ricky Roach, Garret Chapel, Josh Bowers and Austin Bailey recorded Libby’s pins while Zach Crace won an 11-6 decision and Zack Dolezal won a 13-3 majority decision.

“I was happy with the intensity that the boys came out with,” Libby coach Kelly Morford said. “That was a pleasant surprise.

“We scored a lot of points at the end of the periods. That shows that we were going hard.”

Morford said Bowers was particularly impressive, pinning Bonners Ferry 160-pounder Quinn Cummings 30 seconds into the third period.
