We need to get the dredge back in the water and operating. Maybe there is a different way to remove the sedimentation, but right now our dredge is what we have been licensed for, so let's use it. We just lost 20 percent of our allotted operating time; let's not lose any more.

MLIRD needs to have five directors to avoid the current impasse and give ratepayers a broader base of representation.

MLIRD does not need more land; they have 125 acres currently that need attention. Let's not waste any more of your dollars on mobile homes that sit in Portland, Ore. unused.
