ANNIVERSARY
Vic and Kathy Eachon
65th Anniversary
Vic and Kathy Eachon, of Hayden, will be celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary with their family. The couple were married Dec. 20, 1947, in Post Falls.
Their children and spouses are Judy and Chris Thompson of Sandpoint, Dave and Carol Eachon of Hayden, and Susie and Darwin Huber of Beulah, N.D. They have eight grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
ENGAGEMENT
Billingsley-McIntee
Danna Lemmert, of Bonners Ferry, announces the engagement of her daughter, Cassandra Ann Billingsley, also the daughter of the late Michael Atkins, to Collin Joseph McIntee, son of Mike and Cyndi McIntee of Bottineau, N.D.
A Jan. 5, 2013, wedding is planned in North Dakota.
Cassandra is a graduate of Bonners Ferry High School, and is currently attending Minot State University in Minot, N.D., pursuing a degree in psychology.
Collin is a graduate of Bottineau High School and Minot State University in Minot, with a B.S. degree in criminal justice.
He has recently joined the United States Army and will leave for BCT in February.
Micah James Brumbach was born Nov. 5, 2012, to Hope (Anderson) and Zach Brumbach of Coeur d'Alene, at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d'Alene. He weighed 5 lbs. 10 oz. Brother is Caleb, 2. Maternal grandparents are Duane and Jackie Anderson of Coeur d'Alene. Paternal grandparents are Todd and Glenda Brumbach of Eagle.
MILITARY
Marine Corps Pfc. Seth L. Ellingson, son of Jacqueline L. Fix of Springfield, Va., and Mark A. Ellingson of Post Falls, earned the title of United States Marine after graduating from recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C.
For 13 weeks, Ellingson stayed committed during some of the world's most demanding entry-level military training in order to be transformed from civilian to Marine instilled with pride, discipline and the core values of honor, courage and commitment. Training subjects included close-order drill, marksmanship with an M-16A4 rifle, physical fitness, martial arts, swimming, military history, customs and courtesies.
One week prior to graduation, Ellingson endured The Crucible, a 54-hour final test of recruits' minds and bodies. Upon completion, recruits are presented the Marine Corps emblem and called Marines for the first time.
Ellingson is a 2010 graduate of Annandale High School in Annandale, Va.
