Man reports neighbor for early exercising

Monday morning, at about 6 a.m., a Fourth Avenue East resident called Kalispell Police to complain about his neighbor running on her treadmill every morning. He said he is tired of being woken up.

A woman stopped by the station Sunday to report the theft of a ring from her residence on Sixth Avenue West.

A Glenwood Drive resident reported the theft of money from his home.

After a traffic stop on East Center Street and Third Avenue East North, a man was arrested for being a habitual offender driving with a revoked license.

Someone calling from Meridian Court reported that some mailboxes were mysteriously missing from the location. Apparently, they had been struck by a vehicle over the weekend.

A woman reported that her wallet was stolen from her purse while shopping at a store on U.S. 2 West.


The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Sunday from a Whitefish Stage Road address involving a garage being broken into. The perpetrators took power tools and other items and left footprints and tire tracks in the snow.

There was a report of a back window being broken out at a business on U.S. East in the Evergreen area, but it was unclear if anything was taken.

Someone calling from a River Drive address in the Hungry Horse area reported the theft of a firearm.

Someone calling from Mennonite Church Road said a purse had been stolen, and that a credit card that was in the purse was being used to make purchases at multiple stores in the Kalispell area.

A man called Whitefish Police Sunday to report finding a camera and camera bag in the alley behind a Kalispell Avenue residence. The caller thought the items had been stolen and dropped.

There was a report of eight Canadians being out-of-control at a bowling alley on U.S. 93 South at about 11 p.m. The subjects, who had been drinking, loaded up in taxis and left the scene.


A person calling Columbia Falls Police from 13th Street West Sunday reported the theft of two backpacks, portable TVs and DVD players from an unlocked vehicle.
