Sheillagh Patricia Margaret (Page) Carver, 85, of Post Falls, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene. Sheillagh was born on Dec. 19, 1926, in London, England, to Archibald and Gwendolyn Page.

After high school she worked as a draftsman at Allen & Hansburys, where she met Leonard Carver and they were married on Nov. 13, 1948, and had two children. In 1962 they moved to the United States.

Sheillagh worked in retail sales and retired from Macy’s in New Jersey. She was an active member of her church. In 1989 she and Len moved to Cherry Valley, Calif., where Sheillagh volunteered at Childhelp Village in Beaumont, Calif., for several years and was a Sunday school teacher at her church. She enjoyed dancing, lawn bowling and playing cards.

In 2001, Sheillagh and Len moved to Rathdrum and for the past two years had been living at “The Bridge” assisted living in Post Falls. Len died in February 2012.

Survivors include daughter Sally (Joseph) Davala of Florida; son Roger of Rathdrum; brother Michael Page of England; grandson Christopher (April) Davala of North Carolina; granddaughter Jennifer Nacci of Florida; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Aubrey Davala, and Krysten and Bryson Nacci; nephews, Stephen, Gary and Jeremy Page of England, Charles Carver of Arizona, Jonathan Carver of New Jersey; and niece Ashley Carver of England.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 501 Wallace Ave., Coeur d’Alene.
