Restaurant show airs Wednesday

The owners of Rising Sun Bistro of Kalispell have been asked not to speak to the media until after their makeover episode of “Restaurant Impossible” runs on Wednesday at 8 p.m. on the Food Network.
However, the description of the show on the Food Network’s website gives a hint as to what they had been facing:
“The French-themed Rising Sun Bistro in Kalispell, Mont., is facing a mountain of problems: A chaotic kitchen, an uninspired decor, $500,000 worth of debt, and owners who can't stand looking at each other. Chef Robert Irvine has two days and $10,000 to get the restaurant, and the owners, on the right track.”
Irvine and the crew from “Restaurant Impossible” were in Kalispell in September to help turn things around for the restaurant, which has had problems since it moved from Whitefish to its current location at 25 Second Ave. W.
“Restaurant Impossible” gives a restaurant a chance at new life with a two-day process that starts with a thorough analysis of the problems by Irvine.
He then leads a team in tearing apart and reconstructing the decor, the menu and sometimes the staff.
At the conclusion of the two-day process, there was a grand reopening dinner, to which members of the public were invited. Some were interviewed by camera crews during the dinner and will be featured in the show.
The Rising Sun episodes are also slated to be broadcast at 11 p.m. on Wednesday and 9 p.m. on Dec. 26 on the Food Network.
