MOSES LAKE - Preparing her party for the new year, outgoing Grant County Republican Party Chairman Dani Bolyard reminds members of the next big event, the Lincoln Day Dinner in the spring.
If you'd like to help with the planning, you may contact Candy Erickson at bylawschair@grantcounty-gop.com.
Volunteers are needed to organize and plan the auction, plan the food and the venue, find the entertainment, decorate the space, print all the paper items, work through the event, clean up afterward, and write the thank-you's - there's a job for everyone.
"This is our largest event of the year," Bolyard said.
According to Bolyard, there are just a few items Republicans should have on their calendars for the upcoming season.
The Washington State Republican Party's organization meeting will be held Jan. 19-20 in Olympia. The new leadership team will be attending, and there will be more details soon.
The annual Roanoke Conference will be held Jan. 25-27 at Ocean Shores. It will be preceded by a Freedom Academy, hosted by the Freedom Foundation.
"This is one of the premier Republican conferences in the state, and includes quite a bit of entertainment as well," Bolyard said.
