Lady Savage Heat get a Friday win

HOT SPRINGS - At home Friday night, the Lady Savage Heat got their first win of the regular basketball season over Two Eagle River.

Strong and silent senior guard Alyssa Foster led the Lady Savage Heat with 12 points and got into the paint for 10 rebounds as well. Josey Carr posted 10 points in the game, while teammates Meara Schmiedbauer and Alex Green put in eight. Laurel Schmiedbauer and Rosa Dolson each put in four points, while Amanda Woods got two. The win put the Lady Savage Heat to 1-0 in league play and 2-1 overall, however, with the loss to Arlee on Saturday, they now stand at 1-1, 2-2. The Lady Savage Heat will play Seeley Swan on Friday, Dec. 21 and Superior on Saturday, Dec. 22. Both games are away.
