Troxel reassigned on
Idaho State coaching staff
Matt Troxel, a 2004 graduate of Lake City High, has been reassigned to coach the offensive line at Idaho State and Roger Cooper will move to running back coach, the university announced.
Troxel coached inside receivers and special teams at ISU in 2012.
Coach Mike Kramer has also hired Spencer Toone, a defensive graduate assistant at Utah State for the past two years, to coach outside linebackers and Mike Ferriter, an offensive graduate assistant at UNLV, to coach inside wide receivers and manage the running backs for the near future.
Kramer will reassume duties as kick teams coordinator, leaving two positions open, including defensive coordinator.
Wrestling Hall of Fame
to induct five in March
The Idaho Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame will hold an induction banquet on Saturday, March 23 at the Coeur d'Alene Eagles Lodge.
Among the inductees will be Merrill Owens, a longtime official; Ron Wood, former coach at Kellogg High; Conrad Garner, current Bonners Ferry coach; Greg Cossette, longtime assistant coach at Post Falls, and Wallace coach Bob Schreiber.
There will be a social hour from 4:30 to 6 p.m., with dinner and inductions to follow.

Western Athletic Conference
adds Texas-Pan American
DENVER - The University of Texas-Pan American accepted an invitation to join the Western Athletic Conference effective July 1, 2013.
Texas-Pan American becomes the eighth member of the conference in 2013-14, joining Cal State-Bakersfield, Chicago State, Grand Canyon, Idaho, New Mexico State, Seattle and Utah Valley.
UTPA will bring all 14 of its sports - baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's golf, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's indoor and outdoor track and field and volleyball - and will begin competition with the upcoming 2013-14 season.
