Kramer, Stirton provide spark for top-ranked NIC women

COEUR d'ALENE - With three players sidelined with injuries, Mollie Kramer and Georgia Stirton stepped up again as the North Idaho College women's basketball team, ranked No. 1 in the NJCAA, beat the North Idaho All-Stars 67-62 on Thursday night at Christianson Gym.

Kramer came off the bench and hit 3 of 3 3-pointers in the first half and finished with 11 points for NIC (14-0). Stirton, the point guard, had a team-high 14 points and six assists, as well as five rebounds.

"Mollie Kramer has put together a couple nice games for us," NIC coach Chris Carlson said. "And Georgia ran the ball up and down the court well for us."
