COEUR d'ALENE - Keon Lewis scored a game-high 24 points to lead the 13th ranked North Idaho College Cardinals past the Portland Community College Panthers of the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges 101-56 in a nonconference game Friday night at Rolly Williams Court.
"He was really attacking the hoop in transition," NIC coach Jared Phay said.
Mikey Hope scored 14 points and Kaj Sherman 12 points for NIC (15-1), which hosts Treasure Valley next Friday night.
NIC also welcomed back redshirt freshman wing Cole Luckett, who hasn't played since suffering a torn ACL in practice after playing in the season opener for the Cardinals in 2011-12. He tore the same knee last spring, necessitating a second surgery.
Luckett had three points, two rebounds and an assist in 10 minutes.
"It was good to see him out there tonight," Phay said. "It gives us even more depth."
Tremaine Channel scored 16 points for Portland (3-8).
