COEUR d'ALENE - Two popular Christmas programs will wrap up their holiday runs in the Lake City with their final performances soon.
"Traditions of Christmas" has shows set for 7 tonight, and 3 and 7 p.m. Saturday, at the Kroc Center.
The musical produced by Laura Little Theatrical Productions has done well, with six shows selling out.
Several people have seen it more than once. Little said one woman told her husband that for their 60th anniversary, she wanted him to fly their kids out to see Saturday's final show.
The writer of the show is flying up to see it Saturday.
Traditions of Christmas is a musical journey of all the greatest Christmas songs and traditions from around the world.
There are dancing elves, gingerbread dolls, toy soldiers, magical toys and the high-kicking Rockette style tap dancers. The production ends with a fully staged Living Nativity scene. It has a cast of 80 people with spectacular sets and costumes.
"It is truly the perfect show to capture the sights and sounds of Christmas," said a press release.

Cool Yule will be updated for the New Year's holiday, said Michelle Mendez, Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre business director.
The second half of the show will feature all new songs, some traditional New Year's Eve ones, and some not.
