Three more candidates have filed for District Court judge openings in the upcoming election.

Three of the four local district judge positions are on the ballot this year.

Attorney Vanessa Ceravolo and Kalispell Municipal Judge Heidi Ulbricht both filed for the Department 3 judge position currently held by Judge Stewart Stadler. Stadler has said he will not seek re-election.

Attorney Robert Allison filed for the Department 2 judge’s position. Justice of the Peace Daniel Wilson previously had filed for that office, currently held by Judge Kitty Curtis, who announced her retirement from the bench.

Separately, a third Kalispell Republican entered the county commission race. Former Fair Manager Jay Scott, who had previously announced his intention to run for the office, has filed his paperwork.

Terry Kramer and Gary Krueger also have filed for the commissioner spot now held by Dale Lauman, who is not running for re-election.
