They're officially on a roll. On Jan. 24, the Columbia Falls boys basketball team walloped Class B Eureka 78-43, and on Jan. 26, they hammered conference foe Libby 73-25.

In both games the boys spread the ball and the scoring around, in two blowout victories.

"We came into this week expecting to play like we did," coach Cary Finberg said. "We didn't have any let ups, and that's a good sign."

Parker Johnson had a great week, scoring 13 against Eureka and Libby. He also had several steals. Austin Barth had 13 against the Loggers and Luke Kazlauskas had 12

The Eureka game was the boys' last home game until the divisional tournament later this month. The boys face Bigfork away Thursday and Polson away Saturday.

The Cats have had a tough time in recent years beating the Pirates on their home floor. Bigfork is also a good team this year and fell to the Cats earlier this season in a game that came down to the last two minutes.

"These are two tough road games," Finberg said. "I guarantee the (Polson) game won't be the type of game it was the first time."

In that match-up, the Cats (5-0, 9-3) blew out the Pirates 81-40.
