MOSES LAKE - Businesses with wedding offerings can take part in the Columbia Basin Herald's Bridal show, at Big Bend Community College's ATEC Building, on Feb. 25.

Already vendors include Mr. Tux, Tuxedo Gallery, ONE80 Color Bar, Moses Lake Event Center, Classy and Crazy Cakes, Audio in Motion D.J. Services, Bohemian Photography, Moses Lake Rentals and Safeway, according to Bob Richardson, the Herald's display advertising manager.

For more information, call 509-765-4561.

"It will be entertaining and there will be more to see this year," he said.

There are different vendors, with some only providing lighting. He mentioned a wedding planner offering a design of the area.

He estimated about 1,500 people attended the event last year.

Benefits to vendors include targeted marketing for their business, as brides, grooms and their families are on-site planning their weddings.

After the show, there is a drawing for a stay at the Coeur d'Alene Resort.

The vendors receive a list of the brides and grooms in the drawing.

He called the event "a focused and targeted market, exactly what they're (vendors) looking for."

Businesses experienced success from the show because they were able to impress people, Richardson recalled.

The event offers a fashion show this year and may include some dress shops in downtown Moses Lake to increase variety.

The dresses aren't bridal dresses, but more bridesmaids' dresses, he said.

"We have a great venue," Richardson. "You can't ask for a better venue than the ATEC Building. We have an expanded area of booth space and don't have to cut anything off."

The Bridal Show is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Feb. 25.
