The family lived in Rudyard, Havre, Kremlin and have been in Libby 46 years.

Jean worked in Adkins (Rosauers) after moving to Libby, then worked for 14? years in the Lincoln County Treasurer’s office, retiring “officially” in 1982 but returned every year at tax time.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church; LWML; Altar Guild; Kit Kats kitchen band; the Senior Citizens Center (where she did volunteer work); Diabetes Group; a square-dance group; and the courthouse retirees lunch bunch (aka: Courthouse Cuties).

Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Truman Struck of Libby; her children and their spouses; 13 grandsons; two granddaughters; 14 great-grandchildren and another on the way; 1 great-great-grandson; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

Jean was a special “grandma” to a lot of children.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at St. John Lutheran Church, 1017 Montana Ave, in Libby.

The family requests no flowers but a memorial may be made to St. John Lutheran Church; Wings, PO Box 1550, Libby, Mont., 59923; or St. John’s Hospice 350 Louisiana Ave, Libby, Mont., 59923.
