Nonini to run for Hammond's Senate seat

Rep. Bob Nonini, R-Coeur d'Alene, has announced he will seek election to the District 5 Idaho Senate seat now held by Sen. Jim Hammond.
Hammond announced earlier today that he will not seek re-election in 2012.
Nonini is serving his third term in the Idaho House. He is Chairman of the House Education Committee and a member of the Transportation Committee.
