this season with a 56-55 win at home on Tuesday, Jan. 24.

PABLO - Two Eagle picked up a huge win last Tuesday night, again showcasing just how crazy the 14-C "Super" District is going to be until the very end of this season. Behind 16 points by Skyler "Skywalker" Rossbach, the Eagles avenged a loss to Charlo earlier this season with a 56-55 win at home on Tuesday, Jan. 24.

Two Eagle jumped out to a 15-7 lead in the first quarter but the Vikings bounced back and only trailed 27-25 at halftime. Things were close in the second half but the Eagles were able to grab a four-point lead in the final seconds of the game. While Charlo hit a three-pointer, Two Eagle was able to hold on for their fifth conference victory of the season.

The Eagles' balanced attack featured multiple stars with Marcus Brown notching 15 points, Artie Mendoza scoring 13 and point guard Clayton Malatare dishing 10 assists, grabbing eight rebounds and scoring five points.

On Friday, Two Eagle found itself in another close game, this time with Victor. The Pirates were able to get the one-point victory after Victor scored to tie it up 49-49 with two seconds left and then hit a free throw for the 50-49 victory.

Two Eagle had the initial lead, jumping out to an 18-8 advantage in the first quarter, and led 31-21 at halftime. However, Victor outscored the Eagles 12-8 in the third and then came back from six points down in the fourth quarter.

Rossbach again led the team with 16 points, while Mendoza and Brown both had 10 points. Cole Noble added nine.

Two Eagle's record is now 9-5 on the season and 5-4 in the super district.
