TransCanada purchases support truck for BF fire dept.

The city of Bonners Ferry Fire Department received a donation from TransCanada in the amount of $4,000 to help purchase an emergency response vehicle. 

The used vehicle was purchased from a fire department in Florida. The support vehicle is used as a portable command center, for support to fire fighters and to can keep track of units in the field.

The Idaho State Fire Chief's Association donated funds for a projector and for power point and training aids to local firefighters.

TransCanada is a strong supporter of the local fire departments. TransCanada owns and operates pipelines, gas storage facilities and power plants.
