Here is a roundup of what happened last night in Lake County

basketball action. 

BOYS BASKETBALL

Polson 67, Eureka 49

POLSON - Polson pulled away in the second quarter and never looked back in a 67-49 victory over Eureka on Thursday.

Four different Pirates scored in double-digits with Tyler Krell led the way with 19 points. Polson grabbed an 18-13 lead after the first quarter, then outscored Eureka 24-18 in the second to go into halftime with a 42-31 lead.

After the half, Polson went on a 14-8 run and went on to win 67-49. Zach Camel added 16, Cody Fischer notched 13 and Vince DiGiallonardo scored 10 for the Pirates.

Polson is now 8-7 on the season.

POLSON 67, EUREKA 49

Eureka - 13 - 18 - 8 - 10 - 49

Polson - 18 - 24 - 14 - 11 - 67

EUREKA - Tanner Peterson 7, Ryan Holder 11, Tanner Blankers 14, Chris Ibach 10, Bryton Guckenberg 5, Colton Henrie 2.

POLSON - Tyler Krell 19, Vince DiGiallonardo 10, Will Davey 6, Zach Camel 16, Cody Fischer 13, Riley Sampson 3.

TERS 75, St. Regis 19

PABLO - It was a night of big numbers for the Eagles as they downed St. Regis 75-19. Cole Noble led the team with 30 points and the Eagles improve to 6-4 in the district and 10-5 overall.

TERS jumped out to a 34-6 lead after the first quarter and led 50-11 at halftime. St. Regis would score just eight points in the second half.

Seven different Eagles scored for TERS, and point guard Clayton Malatare dished out 23 assists. Artie Mendoza added 13 points while Skyler "Skywalker" Rossbach added 11.

TERS 75, ST. REGIS 19

St. Regis - 6 - 5 - 7 - 1 - 19

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Deer Lodge 50, Ronan 29

RONAN - Deer Lodge got off to a quick start against Ronan and won 50-29 on Thursday night despite 12 points from Raymi Clairmont.

Deer Lodge led 18-4 in the first quarter and had a 29-10 lead by halftime. Ronan picked up the scoring in the second half but couldn't quite slow down the Lady Wardens.

Ronan is now 3-12 on the season.

LAKE COUNTY — A string of burglaries woke up several storeowners in Lake County early Tuesday morning. The three separate break ins that occurred within the span of an hour and a half are believed to be connected.

Whitford hearing continued to Dec. 4

POLSON - The district court omnibus hearing for murder suspect Makueeyapee Whitford has been continued again, with Whitford's attorney Steven Eschenbacher requesting a six-week continuance in a brief court appearance Thursday. Eschenbacher indicated that the request is motivated by "outstanding discovery motions" that are still being processed.
