Boys basketball this season has been far from disappointing - each game has had it's own special flare.
Every once in awhile you watch a game that really distracts you, takes you away - that was this game.
The Trojans have out-matched their opponents 10 to 3. Facing the Loggers' 2-10 record was no big deal.
However, the Loggers showed up and almost proved the Trojans wrong.
On their home court, Troy began the fight to win with little effort - taking their score to 13-points to end the first quarter.
The Loggers managed to trail by 6-points as they entered the second quarter.
Before the end of the first half, the Loggers began to play, to win this game. Leading 1-point over their rival.
The Loggers not only gained the additional 6-points they lacked in the first quarter, but scored 12-points - bringing the first half to a close, Troy 21 and Libby 22.
Neither team accumulated very many points in the third quarter.
Troy gained 7-points and Libby only 2-points.
The Trojans, recently, have played very high scoring games.
There was no way this game could end in the fourth with less than 30-points scored by either team.
The Loggers, having been thrashed the game before, 73-25 by Columbia Falls - they weren't about to let the Trojans shut them down this close to home.
The fourth quarter exploded with speed and enthusiasm.
Shot after shot, rebound after rebound - each team scored one after another.
In the last 20 seconds of the game it became clear, either team could take home a win.
Gabe Hickman makes a free throw to bring the game 41-40. Although, Libby scored again, 41-42.Nobody expected in the last 16.5 seconds of the game, Cody Orr would take the winning shot to win the game, 43-42.
