WEDDING

Westwood-Mills

Ron and Cindy Westwood announce the marriage of their daughter, Courtney Maedell, to Michael Mills of Appomattox, Va.

The wedding was performed by Pastor Paul Van Noy at The Chapel of Memories on Aug. 20, 2011, in Temecula, Calif., with a reception immediately following at the Seale Estate.

The newlyweds honeymooned at the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego and make their home in Lynchburg, Va.

Michael is attending college and employed by Ford Motor Company, while Courtney also attends college and is a Stella and Dot sales consultant.

A second reception was held on Sept. 3, 2011, in Pamplin City, Va.

MILITARY

Air Force Airman Mykkel R. Mensching graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Mensching is the son of Randy and Susan Mensching of Coeur d'Alene.

He is a 2007 graduate of Coeur d'Alene High School. He earned an associate degree in 2010 from North Idaho College in Coeur d'Alene.
