70-year-old man is sentenced for 4th DUI

A 70-year-old Kalispell man was sentenced to 13 months with the Department of Corrections and three years of probation after being convicted of his fourth offense of driving under the influence.
Leroy Cobler was approached by a Whitefish police officer while he was staying at a hotel in town after a clerk reported that he had backed out of a parking spot and struck another vehicle.
Cobler admitted hitting the car and consuming alcohol.
After failing a field sobriety test and breath test, Cobler was arrested.
His prior DUI convictions were in August 1995, November 2007 and August 2008.
