Coeur d'Alene Sting under-11 girls (Rud): The Sting lost 6-5 to the Cobra Shooting Stars in their first indoor game of the season. Erika Skindlov and Marlee Lambert scored two goals each and Eryn Ducote had one goal. Erika Skindlov had two assists.
The Sting then beat the Lakeland Nighthawks 8-1. Erika Skindlov and Eryn Ducote both scored hat tricks, and Sydnee Rud scored two goals. Sydnee Rud had two assists, Eryn Ducote one.

COEUR d'ALENE RECREATION
Indoor swim lesson registration: Signups will begin Monday, Feb. 13 for the next session of indoor swim lessons sponsored by the Coeur d'Alene Recreation Department and held at the McGrane Center.
Classes are held on Monday or Wednesday evenings for six weeks. Classes start the week of Feb. 20. Registration will take place at the Coeur d'Alene City Hall Recreation Department, 710 Mullan Avenue. Cost is $37.00.
Youth volleyball camp: The Coeur d'Alene Recreation Department is running a volleyball camp for kids in grades 1-8. We are taking registration beginning Feb. 6 and will take sign ups until the camp is full. Registrations will be taken at Cd'A City Hall located at 710 Mullan Ave.
This camp begins Thursday, March 8 and will be held March 8, March 13, March 15 and March 20 at Woodland Middle School.
Grades 1-4 will go from 5 to 6:30 p.m., and grades 5-8 will go from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
The camp is instructional in design and geared to teach and develop volleyball skills in a fun and non-competitive environment.
Each child receives a camp T-shirt. Cost is $30.

Coed soccer: Registration is under way for an under-14 coed league for ages 13-14.
Cost is $20 for Rathdrum residents, $25 for non-residents, with a late fee of $5 per registration after March 2.
This is a coed recreational league, 9 vs. 9 with certified referees. Rathdrum team games will be played in Post Falls. Teams will have a maximum of 12 players.
Register at the Rathdrum Parks & Recreation office or print forms through www.rathdrum.org.
No online registration will be available for this inaugural season.
Games will begin around April 7 and end around May 17; most games will be played on Saturday mornings.
A parent, player and coaches preseason meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 15 at 5:30 p.m. at the John Brown Elementary school gym. No registrations will be taken at the preseason meeting.
