Lady Pirates defeated their Southwestern A opponent 60-18 on Friday

night to improve to 12-3 on the season.

POLSON - Riley Kenney outscored Corvallis by herself and the Lady Pirates defeated their Southwestern A opponent 60-18 on Friday night to improve to 12-3 on the season.

Kenney scored 24, and the mercy clock was running in the third quarter against Corvallis. Polson had started things out with a 10-0 run in the first quarter and the Lady Blue Devils didn't score points until midway through the period.

The Lady Pirates had a 13-4 lead going into the second quarter, and went on a 10-2 run to push their advantage to 23-6 with three minutes left in the half. 

Polson led 29-7 at halftime and Kenney had 16 points in the first half. Then things really started to get out of control.

In the third quarter, Polson finished off the stanza on a 20-0 run and led 54-12 going into the fourth quarter. The Lady Pirates cruised to victory and picked up their third win of the season where they held an opponent to under 20 points. 

Along with Kenney's 24, Heidi Rausch was solid in the post with 12 points and Anna DiGiallonardo had 10 points.
