FVCC lecture features newroom veteran Ostroms

George Ostrom and Wendy Ostrom-Price will team up to kick off Flathead Valley Community College's President's Lecture Series on Feb. 21 with their free presentation on "Local Media: Past and Present" in the Arts and Technology Building beginning at 7 p.m.
The two will facilitate a conversation about their approach to covering local issues and the changing role of media in the news today.
Ostrom's career in the radio broadcasting industry spans more than 50 years. He is currently heard weekday mornings on KGEZ AM600 and is a columnist for the Hungry Horse News.
Ostrom-Price was a reporter, news anchor and talk show host at KOFI Radio for about 17 years and is currently the public relations officer for Flathead Electric Cooperative Inc.
