Lelia M. Nordstrom, age 99, resident of Coeur d'Alene, passed away Feb. 14, 2012, at Rose Terrace Cottage, in Coeur d'Alene.

Lelia was born Oct. 22, 1912, in Lane, Idaho, to Odlion and Alice (Fitzsimmons) Couturer. She lived her whole life in Kootenai County, moving to Coeur d'Alene in 1954 from the Rose Lake area.

Lelia was the camp cook for the family logging company (Nordstrom Brothers Logging) for over 20 years keeping the crew feed. She also loved fixing the Christmas Family Dinners for many years. Lelia enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, collecting Teddy Bears and camping. One of the family texted that "on Valentine's Day this year maybe she had a date with Mr. Nordstrom"

Lelia married Emil B. Nordstrom in 1932. They lived behind Killarney Lake, Idaho, until his death in 1933. She later married Arthur Nordstrom in 1939.

Lelia was preceded in death by her husbands; Emil on Nov. 8, 1933, and Arthur on Sept. 22, 1970; daughter-in-laws Juanita Nordstrom and Margie Nordstrom.

Lelia is survived by her sons; Emil "Ronnie" of Cataldo, Richard of Post Falls, and Norman and Sue of Coeur d'Alene. Grandchildren are Ronnita and Lonnie Kraack of Cataldo, Mark and Jeannie Nordstrom of Coeur d'Alene, Eric and Rie Nordstrom of Bothell, Wash., Bruce Nordstrom of Coeur d'Alene, Matthew and Anna McComb of Kalispel, Mont., Marian McComb of Bayview; great-grandchildren, Brandy and Jason Carman of Black Lake, Idaho, Tori and Danny Usdrowski of Coeur d'Alene, Taucha Kirking of Coeur d'Alene, Chelsea Nordstrom of Killarney Lake, Idaho, Jordan McFarland and Sean McComb of Kalispel, Zachary Stuart of Coeur d'Alene and Mercedes McComb of Bayview; and 14 great-great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at Rose Terrace Cottage for their excelant care and Hospice of North Idaho for the comfort they provided during her last few weeks. The family also suggest memorials to Hospice of North Idaho, 9493 N. Government Way, Hayden, Idaho 83835.

Graveside funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday Feb. 18, 2012, at Riverview Cemetery, Coeur d'Alene. English Funeral Chapel, 1133 N. 4th St., Coeur d'Alene, has been entrusted with her care.
