THE BEAUTY OF HER SMILE: A tribute to Rosemary Peak

There's beauty in each little flower, each star in the midnight sky.

And there's beauty in the lonely cloud, that floats so lazily by.

Each loveliness that nature holds, I've seen them all the while,

But there is nothing to compare, with the beauty of her smile.

When autumn breezes blow their way to winter,

And stormy weather turns the world to gray,

when we find we're getting cold, our thought of her unfold,

And we warm ourselves with the mem'ry of her smile.

Many weary miles we roam in this lovely land we've known

But we travel on in the beauty of her smile.

Our lives are sometimes sad, but she makes our poor hearts glad

She has changed it all with the beauty of her smile.

When things go wrong, the world is on our shoulders;

It doesn't have to stay that way for long.

We can turn our thoughts to her, and our hearts wax merrier

As we cheer ourselves with the beauty of her smile.

"When they needed angels way up there in heaven,

They came and took you, darling, to the sky.

Then they placed a silver star, just to tell us where you are,

and each night it shines with the beauty of your smile.

SIMPLE SOUNDS

A child is shivering,

Bundled up in tears,

Tucked away in bed,

Blocking her ears.

The scaring violence

And frightful screams,

Bring violent voices

To her little dreams

This we would say

To your tiny heart

Peace for you we pray

From dark until light

With the simple sounds.

We love you, Good Night.
