Northwestern A divisional begins Thursday in Columbia Falls

The Northwestern A divisional boys and girls basketball tournaments get under way on Thursday with a pair of games at Columbia Falls High School.

Whitefish faces Libby in a girls contest at 6 p.m. with Libby tangling with Polson in a boys battled at 8 p.m.

The winners of those two games advance to Friday's round to face the No. 3-ranked Frenchtown girls and No. 4-ranked Columbia Falls boys.

All-session passes for adults are $30 and for students/seniors $20.

Tickets for Thursday's session are $6 for adults and $4 for students/seniors.

Friday's single session tickets are: adult $10 and student/senior $6.

Saturday a.m. session prices are: adult $6 and student/senior $4.

Saturday p.m. session prices are: adult $10 and student/senior $6.

Frenchtown and Columbia Falls were undefeated during the regular season in Northwestern A play.

The championship games are set for Saturday - 6 p.m. girls and 8 p.m. boys.

The top two teams advance to state in Butte. The boys go March 1-3 with the girls to follow 8-10.
