Glacier girls rout Hellgate

The Glacier girls held strong on Senior night, beating Hellgate 53-28 at home on Tuesday.
The Wolfpack (5-6 in Western AA, 10-8 overall) ended a four-game losing streak, starting out fast to lead 17-5 after the first quarter. They led 24-12 at halftime and 39-18 after three, cruising to the victory.
"It was a good win for us," Glacier coach Kris Salonen said. "It was a good team effort. We needed it."
Cassidy Hashley had a double-double in the game, scoring 17 points and pulling in 10 rebounds. Nicole Heavirland also scored 17 points for the Pack. Cara Guderian led the Knights (0-10 Western AA, 1-17 overall) with 11 points.
