It seems like simple, one dish recipes are either too bland and boring, or contain so many ingredients that they become more of a hassle than an easy dinner option. If you're the one in the family who is in charge of the grocery shopping each week, you know the painstaking process of budgeting your grocery list. It makes it hard to try new dishes when the amount of ingredients needed for a new recipe surpasses the average ingredients needed for two or more dinners.

However, there is hope my coupon clipping comrades. Yes, you can still make a delicious dinner for your family without breaking the bank. I first tried this savory dish while at a dinner with friends. Simply called, "Yummy Chicken" it became, and has remained, one of the easiest and "yummiest" recipes I've tried.

Inventiveness with green beans

It's a constant challenge to come up with fresh and interesting sides to go with traditional dishes. However, even if someone is a "meat and potatoes" kind of eater, there's always room for a little inventiveness when it comes to flavoring a seemingly bland, take as little as possible portion, springtime vegetable.

Relax with an easy breakfast

This weekend was a great time to get together with friends and family and enjoy the wonderful weather Idaho has to offer. The hum of lawnmowers and weed eaters echoed throughout the entire neighborhood. When it's this nice outside, one of my favorite things to do is get up early, grab a hot cup of coffee and sit outside reading the newspaper, and listening as the rest of the town awakens and prepares for the day.
