Kootenai County Sheriff

Thursday

2 p.m.: Welding equipment, a Hitachi saw and tires and rims with a total value of about $3,900 were reported stolen from the shop at a business located in the 23300 block of North Highway 95 near Athol.

Friday

9 a.m.: Damages of about $800 were reportedly done to a 1993 Chevrolet pickup parked in a business storage lot in the 54200 block of North Old Highway 95 near Athol. A tool box containing tools valued at $2,500 was reported stolen from the truck.

Monday

12:02 p.m.: Tickets valued at $2,000 were reported stolen from a machine that is used to tag logs before delivery to the mill by USFS loggers. The machine is located at Farragut State Park in the 13500 block of East Highway 54 near Athol.
