Augustana Symphonic Band plays Moses Lake

MOSES LAKE - The Augustana Symphonic Band plays in Moses Lake Friday.

The band, part of the music program at Augustana College in Rock Island, Ill., performs 7 p.m. Friday at the Wallenstien Theater, 6989 College Parkway NE, Moses Lake.

Admission is free, but an offering will be taken to help pay for the band's travel expenses.

The band is led by Conductor James Lambrecht.

The Augustana Symphonic Band was formed in 1874. The band is made up of wind instrumentalists and graduates can be found in prestigious professional and community ensembles and graduate programs.
