Badgers 45, Lakeland 19

The eighth grade girls badgers are still tearing up the court and beat Lakeland last week with a score of 45-19.

The Badger girls played tough defense and picked up 26 steals and passed the ball well totaling 13 assists on 16 total field goals made, according to coach Pat Behrens. 

Kerstin Oxford sparked the Badger victory with 16 points, five steals and three assists. 

Abby Davis also had a nice all around game with 10 points, four steals and four rebounds.  Kayleigh Morgan added nine points including seven of eight free throw attempts. 

Aaliyah Zarate led the girls with six  rebounds and also chipped in five steals.

Other Badgers  scoring were Jaiden Everhart with four, Ciera Woods, Malorie Stippich and Regan Byars all with two points.
