COEUR d'ALENE - We're not done yet.

Coeur d'Alene could get pounded with around 8 more inches of snow beginning tonight - a storm that could stretch into the first days of March.

The expected snowfall is coming right on the heels of a weekend dumping that dropped between 5 and 9 inches around the area.

It was the second storm in the latter half of the month, with one more on the way.

"I do believe we've got another storm here knocking on the door," said Cliff Harris, regional climatologist. "We're being force-fed the snow."

Between 4 to 8 inches could fall beginning tonight and last into Thursday, the first day of March.

Snow flurries, with a mix of rain, could return next weekend, as well around March 5.

But tonight's storm, coming down from the Gulf of Alaska, should be the last major snowfall Harris said.

Temperatures should remain around 15 degrees below normal for this time of year, with highs remaining in the low to mid 30s.

The weekend storm pushed the seasonal snowfall close to 60 inches, which is right on par for seasonal average of around 70 inches.
